About

Why Suburban "Dabbler"? When we bought our first house, I knew how to paint walls and that was about it. So I started dabbling with fixing things and doing home improvement projects. Over the years I learned a lot! While I still like to do a lot of different types of projects, I have become someone who is skilled at DIY.

I named the site Suburban Dabbler because I believe that from doing small projects here and there and learning a few new skills along the way, big changes can occur. I hope the tutorials will help you have the confidence to try some projects and eventually make big changes to your home as well!
